This year we are celebrating 30 years on the Cambridge Science Park, and to mark the occasion, we are partnering with the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) to bring Cambridge the Butterfly Ball. All proceeds from the Ball will go to support the local TCT Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Napp has been supporting the TCT for several years now and the Butterfly Ball is a continuation of that long-standing relationship. Our past activities have included sponsorship of the Hill’s Road Sixth Form College Fun Run, and organising and hosting the Black Tulip Ball, which was held to raise funds for the development of the Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. The Black Tulip Ball raised over £30,000 for the TCT and we are hoping that the Butterfly Ball will exceed that amount. The evening is set to be memorable one, with tickets including champagne, canapés and a three course meal with wine, as well as entertainment that includes a performance by Anton du Beke and Erin Boag from the BBC’s, Strictly Come Dancing.
Beryl Hobbs of the Napp organising committee said, “The Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital is an amazing place, and we are delighted to be able to help the TCT to raise funds so that the fantastic medical and support staff can continue to provide the bespoke care that teenagers need at such a difficult time in their lives.”
